RoyalFlavz Hair Studio is owned and operated by Flavia Royal. Our mission is to bridge a cultural gap in rural communities - bringing expert Black hair care services closer to home, so clients feel seen, confident, and culturally rooted.
When I migrated from Jamaica to Truro, N.S., in 2018, I struggled to find a stylist who truly understood Black hair. That challenge inspired me to create the professional, one-stop studio I wished existed, where quality and convenience meet.
Our specialties are protective styling such as braids, locs maintenance, and weaves, along with natural hair care. While we shine in textured and Black hair care, we proudly serve clients of all hair types with the same dedication.
